Bathe your people in light and truth, O Holy
One,
that they may be clad in the armor of Love
to face the events of this day.
May we walk in mercy and gentleness
upon the path of kindness
for all of our
fellow creatures.
May we be guided by your Love
where we might stumble,
and may
we make your Word a lantern for our feet.
Watch over and bless, comfort, and
strengthen,
we pray,
these your children in their needs and concerns.
