Almighty God, we rise to face the light of dawn, as gratitude rises in our hearts for your tending us in the night. We thank You, Lord Christ, for the grace which welcomes us into the household of God and the fellowship of all creation.
May we turn our hearts to your holy wisdom, that our steps may be guided by faithfulness and compassion. Restore the face of the Earth, O Creator, and renew a right spirit within us, that we seek to love and care for all the world. May the Spirit of Peace draw all hearts under its wings, that we may rejoice within the embrace of Almighty Love.
Holy One, we lift our hearts and hopes to You: in your mercy, grant your peace and comfort to those we now name.
