Almighty, Eternal One,
we lift our hearts to you in hope:
fill us with your grace and lovingkindness,
that we may be witnesses to the world and beacons to your truth.
Your generous hand upholds us all,
O Great and Beautiful Mystery:
Your steadfast love is the foundation of all that is,
and we praise You and bless you with grateful voices.
The marvels of your creation dazzle our eyes,
and everywhere we look
we see the intricate work of your fingers,
O Foundation Wisdom and Truth.
May we stand in wonder in the paths of your compassion,
and humbly seek to embody your love, Lord Christ,
walking reverently upon the earth,
as companions in love and faithfulness.
Merciful One,
strengthen the hand and hearts of the healers.
Grant your protection
to all who place themselves in harm's way
for the sake of others,
and all whose needs we lift before You as we pray.
