God of Grace and Mercy,
we lift our hearts in joy,
overflowing with your abundant blessing upon us.
Drive far from us all fear and worry,
and help us remember your protecting hand upon us
seeking to guide us in the Way of Love.
Grant us a double portion of courage,
Blessed Jesus, our Light and our Truth,
that we may work for justice and peace
grounded in your commandment
to walk humbly alongside of You in the service of our neighbors.
Strengthen our wills to humbly bow before You,
O God and Shepherd of All,
that we may ever act in concert with each other
aligned with the cause of the oppressed.
Give your angels charge
to bear up those who watch and wait,
and place the kiss of your blessing
upon those for whom we pray.
