Merciful One, we bow before You,
and center our hearts to hear
your words of tenderness to us:
may our praise resound
in the path we choose this day as your people.
Strengthen us to look upon this world
your hand has filled with beauty,
and see where we can work for its repair
and the restoration of our relationships.
Inspire us by your wisdom
to reflect your light
even from the broken places in our hearts,
to hear and obey your call to community, justice, and hope,
seeking the well-being of our neighbors.
O God, whose name is Shalom,
gather your children
into your welcoming space
beneath the wing of your mercy and peace
as we pray.
