Prayer 1885: Monday of Holy Week
O God, Almighty and Merciful One,
Guardian of Our Souls,
we ask your grace to rest upon us
as we turn our faces toward the Pascal feast.
May our faith deepen as we contemplate the cross,
and may we be made worthy
to claim the name of Christ as our own.
May we die to sin
and be born again into the hope of resurrection,
seeking reconciliation and renewal with all creation.
Lord Jesus, may we invite you deeper into our hearts today,
and dedicate ourselves to embodying your healing presence.
Holy Trinity, grant us peace
through the embrace of justice and mercy;
and envelop within your care all whom we now remember.
Amen.
