Almighty One, we lift our souls to You,
who holds us and treasures us as children:
accept these our prayers and praises
which we humbly offer before You.
Take us by hand, O Precious Savior,
and lead us into your truth and light,
that we may ourselves reflect that light into the world.
Preserve us from evil,
for we are prone to wander far astray,
and do what we ought not to do:
forgive us, Lord, forgive.
Guide us into newness of life, Blessed Jesus,
and transform and renew our hearts
in faith, hope, and gentleness.
Lord, spread the shelter of your blessing
over all those whose needs we lift before you.
Amen.
