Lord Jesus Christ,
reign in our hearts today and always
as our King and our Teacher.
Teach us to live as true children of God,
walking in ways of peace, gentleness, and compassion
for all living things.
Exercise your healing power
over a world in which too many suffer, O Savior,
by working through us as your servants.
Inspire us by the Holy Spirit, O God,
to live with each other in love and faithfulness,
strengthened around your altar.
Holy One, bless and keep us in your embrace,
and stretch out your hand of blessing
over all who call upon You.
