| Our rector, Pamela, shows visitors the late-season glory and continuing bounty of Shepherd Farm food garden ministry at the Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd in Town and Country, Missouri. In operation for just 4 years, it has produced over 4 tons of food to be given to the hungry. |
Most Merciful God, accept our prayers and praises as we place them before You, and give us a right spirit within us this day.
Guide us to serve each other in love and charity, and to testify to the wonders of the love of Christ. Bring us in safety through this day, we pray, and unite us through the power of the Holy Spirit. Give us humble, steadfast hearts, and minds that thirst for your truth and justice, O Holy One.
Comfort those who mourn, and strengthen those who bear the weight of anxiety. Envelop those for whom we remember before you in a cloud of peace and comfort, Lord Jesus, as we pray in your holy name.
