Blessed Redeemer, let our prayers rise to you in the morning light, recounting our thankfulness and trust. Hold us within the bounds of your love, Holy One, even when we wander afield. Protect us and shield us from falling into sin and error, keeping our hearts and minds centered within your Spirit. Help us to hold within our hearts all who suffer or are lost or entangled in webs of pain. Lord Christ, hear our prayer: comfort those whom we remember before You, and grant them peace.
