Most Merciful God, we lift our wakening hearts to You, and sing our praises and gratitude with the rising sun. God is our haven and resting-place: may we find our rest in You, O God, that, strengthened and renewed, we greet the day.
Fill us with the power and light of the Holy Spirit, that we may shine forth the love of Christ into the world today. Hallow us and fill us with your loving-kindness, Lord Jesus, that we may walk in your ways and in your love, we pray.
Consecrate our hearts and our hands, O Holy One, to do your work or healing in the world. Send your holy angels to guard us, O God, and place the kiss of peace upon those for whom we pray.
