Dawn drenches gold across the sky as we rise from our beds to sing out our praise, Lord God! With overflowing hearts we offer our thanks to You for your manifold mercies, for your glory which fills our spirits with joy.
Abide within us this day, we pray, and guide us in pathways of compassion and gentleness. May hope arise in our hearts as we seek to live and learn from you, O Blessed Savior, delighting in your commandment of love. Draw us together in unity and amity, O Spirit of Truth, that peace and contentment may reign in our hearts.
Holy One, press the hand of your blessing upon the hearts of those we now name, we pray.
