Lord Jesus, let us seek to abide with You, for the day is at hand, and we are eager to work to your glory today. Give us gentle hands and steadfast hearts, that each person we encounter may know our love.
Let us work side by side with our brothers and sisters to the glory of your kingdom, O Lord, praising you through our actions. Let us seek to ease the suffering of all those in fear or in want, remembering the bonds that unite us. Let us be devoted to the cause of peace and mercy, that we be just, tender, and compassionate in all our dealings. Let us open our hearts without fear of failure or hurt, and strive to love as You love, Lord Christ.
Stretch out your hand of blessing, O Holy One, over those who turn to You.
