O God, our times are in your hand: May we use each day to serve you with joy and gladness! Each day is a new beginning of a new year, each moment the beginning of a new day: let us use it in love and praise!
O God, You dwell in light inaccessible, yet sent the light of Christ into the world: guide us by your Holy Spirit in each action. Where we have fallen short of your call to love You and each other, let us rededicate ourselves anew. May we bring justice, compassion, mercy and kindness to flower by that light: may we do all things in the spirit of Love.
Loving One, send, we pray, the Spirit of healing and compassion to those whom we now name.
